Rules before you chuck something in
- Allowed formats: MP4, MKV, AVI, WMV, MPG, WEBM, MOV, MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A and more. Max 200 MB per file.
- Allowed content: old home videos, VHS rips, webcam clips, TV clips, viral internet stuff, staged comedy, weird and obscure media. Nudity is fine if it's incidental or comedic and not the point of the video.
- Uploading means you have the right to share it. DMCA takedowns are enforced and content gets pulled.
- Files go into a pending queue. Check back to see if it went live.
- Don't spam uploads. The queue will tell you if it's full.
- CSAM: don't fucking upload it. Reported to NCMEC and law enforcement immediately. Key gone.
- Non-consensual recordings: hidden cameras, upskirts, anything filmed without the subject's knowledge. Not allowed.
- Pornography: if the purpose of the video is sexual, it doesn't belong here. Yes, even if it aired on TV at midnight. We still have to comply with laws regardless of where it was broadcast. Upload it to Rule34.
- Targeted content: videos made to harass, expose, or dox a specific real person.
- Key sharing: passing your key to someone who uses it to cause problems gets your key revoked too.
Approved files may be renamed for consistency. When in doubt, don't.
